A Dutch animal boarding facility, D'Aanloop in Darp, has been ordered to close following a damning investigation by the National Animal Welfare Inspectorate (LID). The latest incident involved a dog named Banjer, who died in July after suffering critical injuries from bite wounds. The LID acted on these concerns, leading to the facility's immediate shutdown.
