Taiwan is facing a potential threat from two typhoons simultaneously. Tropical Depression TD has developed into Tropical Storm Saudel, and is rapidly intensifying. The Central Weather Bureau reports Saudel is gaining strength and forecasts suggest a possible path bringing it close to Taiwan. Currently, Saudel is located southeast of Taiwan and moving northwest. Another tropical system is also developing, creating a rare “double typhoon” scenario. Experts are closely monitoring both storms, advising residents to prepare for potential heavy rainfall and strong winds, particularly along the eastern coast. Further updates and specific impact forecasts are expected in the coming days.
