Grass cutting is currently peaking in Northern Moravia and Silesia, creating a dangerous environment for fawns. These young animals are often unable to escape mowing machinery due to the height of the vegetation. To combat this, farmers, hunters, and volunteers have increased their use of drones this year. This technological shift allows rescuers to locate stranded fawns more efficiently from the air. Hunters report that the success rate of these operations has improved significantly. The results of using drones far surpass previous traditional search methods. This collaborative effort ensures more fawns are saved from the machinery.
