A meteor shower, known as the Draconids, will peak overnight between October 8th and 9th in Poland. The best viewing time is expected around 3:00 AM Polish time, although favorable conditions may appear earlier, between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM. This year’s display will be particularly good due to the nearly invisible Moon. The Draconids are a stream of debris from Comet 21P/ Giacobini-Zinner, creating a “shower of stars” as the particles enter Earth's atmosphere. Observers in Poland with clear skies should have a good chance of witnessing the celestial event. This annual astronomical spectacle offers a beautiful and easily accessible display for skywatchers.
