Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) conducted a mobile court operation to remove illegal encroachments from roads and sidewalks, aiming to improve pedestrian and vehicle traffic flow. The operation took place on Wednesday, June 17th, focusing on the Dholairpar Khalpar Road, Jatrabari intersection, and Shahid Faruq Road areas. Led by Executive Magistrate Mohammad Aminul Islam, the DSCC’s mobile court dismantled unauthorized structures and occupations. The initiative seeks to reclaim public spaces and ensure smoother commutes for residents. Authorities have intensified efforts to address the long-standing issue of illegal land occupation within the capital city. Further operations are anticipated in other congested areas of Dhaka South. The DSCC aims to maintain order and accessibility on city streets.
