Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) forces in Dhaka, Bangladesh have arrested six individuals, including a second-in-command identified as Abu Saeed, linked to an attack on police officers. The arrests follow a robbery at a বিকাশ (Bkash) mobile financial service shop in Adabar, Dhaka, and a subsequent assault on responding officers. The suspects are accused of ambushing and injuring police during the attempted apprehension. Those arrested also include Rashid Khandaker, Md. Liton, Md. Tausif, and Md. Tariqul Islam; the identity of a sixth individual remains unknown. The arrests were made during a midnight operation in the Mohammadpur and Peerbagh areas of Dhaka. Authorities are investigating the “Kobji Kata” (Wrist-Cutting) group’s involvement in the incident and related criminal activities.
