Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) apprehended 508 individuals across the capital city in a single-day crackdown on Saturday, July 4th. Simultaneously, the DMP’s traffic division registered 858 cases for various traffic law violations. The arrests stemmed from regular anti-crime operations conducted across different divisions within Dhaka. Specifically, 52 were arrested in the Ramna division, 23 in Lalbagh, 32 in Wari, 48 in Motijheel, and 68 in Tejgaon, with further arrests reported in other zones.
