Demolition crews have taken control of the fire-ravaged 34th building within Zlín’s Baťa estate, initiating the removal process this afternoon. Over a month after the destructive fire, heavy machinery will begin dismantling the charred remains using large hydraulic shears. The building's core is expected to be fully demolished within 25 working days. Following the demolition, crews will focus on removing the resulting debris. This marks a significant step in the recovery of the area following the incident. The demolition will clear the way for future redevelopment of the important landmark within the historic Baťa industrial zone.
