The audit uncovered improper financial practices, including the misallocation of funds. Specifically, the hospital is required to recover over 15.3 million Vietnamese Dong (approximately $600 USD) that was incorrectly used to support a doctor’s tuition fees. The investigation highlights deficiencies in the hospital’s internal controls and adherence to regulations. Authorities are addressing the identified issues to ensure accountability and prevent future irregularities. The findings signal increased oversight of public healthcare institutions in the region. Further investigations may be conducted based on these initial results.
