The town of Soběslav, in the Tábor district of the Czech Republic, is moving forward with plans for a 21-hectare industrial zone located near the D3 highway. A planning agreement for the zone was discussed at a recent town hall meeting, though some residents voiced opposition. The planned zone will ultimately comprise six halls totaling over 72,000 square meters of space. Authorities anticipate the zone will handle up to 310 trucks daily once fully operational. Construction is expected to occur in three phases, with each phase taking approximately two years to complete. The development aims to boost the local economy and provide new employment opportunities in the region.
