A new Czech comedy film, “Vyvolený” (The Chosen One), is set to premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The film is an adaptation of a classic work by German author Thomas Mann. Directed by Tomasz Mielnik, the cast includes prominent Czech actors Miroslav Donutil, Petr Uhlík, and Eliška Křenková. Jan František Uhr plays the lead role in the film. News outlet Novinky has exclusively released the first trailer for “Vyvolený.” The film’s release coincides with the approaching Karlovy Vary festival, where it will be screened to audiences.
