Czech rescue services have prepared for the summer season by activating their water rescue bases on the Slapy and Orlík reservoirs. The Slapy base received a brand new rescue boat on Wednesday, equipped with medical supplies similar to ambulances. The existing boat from Slapy, which is two years old, will be relocated to Orlík to supplement their older vessel. This upgrade ensures more robust emergency response capabilities on both reservoirs. Crews will maintain continuous presence near the reservoirs throughout the season. The new equipment is intended to enhance safety for recreational users during the peak summer months.
