Two 355-meter radio towers near Český Brod in the Czech Republic are slated for demolition after over a year of inactivity. The towers, formerly used for radio transmission, are now obsolete as Czech Radiocommunications prepares to dismantle them. Demolition by controlled explosion is being considered as the primary method of removal. Once demolished, the towers will no longer hold the title of the country’s tallest structures. The structures have not broadcast any signals for some time, leading to the decision to proceed with their removal. The demolition aims to eliminate the unused infrastructure and repurpose the land.
