Czech football clubs are preparing to implement stricter security measures, including facial recognition technology, starting next autumn. The aim is to prevent individuals with stadium bans from attending matches, utilizing a camera system linked to a digital register of banned persons. Parliament members are also considering tightening rules regarding face coverings, pyrotechnics, and pitch invasions. Patrik Nacher, Deputy Chamber of Deputies, highlighted the enforcement of bans at away games and the potential for widespread facial recognition across the top-tier league.
