A report from the Institute for Aviation Accident Investigation revealed a series of errors led to the fatal June 2nd crash of a Bristell NG5 ultralight aircraft near Točná airport. The plane, piloted by two men from Liberec who died in the accident, repeatedly deviated from recommended flight procedures. Investigators found the aircraft did not follow the suggested flight path, flew at a dangerously low altitude, and entered a spin during a fourth turn. This spin ultimately resulted in the aircraft crashing into a field. The preliminary findings suggest pilot error and procedural non-compliance were contributing factors. The investigation is ongoing to determine all causes of the tragedy. The report underscores the critical importance of adhering to established aviation safety protocols.
