Czech firm PBS Group has secured a significant contract to supply jet engines for US-made drone interceptors called White Spike. These interceptors are designed to destroy enemy drones and missiles. The engines will be manufactured at PBS’s facility in Velká Bíteš, located in the Czech Republic’s Vysočina region. This deal represents a major win for the Czech defense industry and highlights the country’s growing role in international arms production. PBS Group is also exploring the possibility of establishing production capabilities for these engines in Ukraine. The company aims to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities and further expand its global reach in the defense sector. This move underscores the increasing demand for counter-drone technology amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
