Javelin thrower Nikol Tabačková is rapidly gaining prominence in Czech athletics. She achieved a personal best in June, exceeding 60 meters for the first time at a meet in Sankt Pölten, Austria. Tabačková solidified her position as the top Czech competitor in the event at Tuesday’s Golden Spike Ostrava competition. Although she placed fourth with a throw of 58.84 meters, she demonstrated consistent performance. The competition was won by Serbia’s Adriana Vilagošová, who achieved a throw of 62.92 meters. Veteran coach Špotáková expressed satisfaction with Tabačková’s progress, noting a significant improvement in her technique and results.
