Czech investment group Star Capital Finance, led by Josef Malíř, has expanded into the Romanian real estate market. The company acquired two retail parks located in Miercurea Ciuc and Moinești. The seller is RC Europe, a Czech developer founded by former Lidl executives Miroslav Hartman and Jan Prokop. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. This marks Star Capital Finance’s first investment in Romanian retail property. The acquisition signals growing investor interest in Romania’s retail sector. RC Europe will likely reinvest proceeds from the sale into other development projects.
