Hundreds of Czech high school students completed a rigorous four-week voluntary military training program and officially took their oath as reservists on Friday. The ceremony took place simultaneously at ten locations across the country, including Prague Castle and the Náměšť nad Oslavou airbase. Upon completion of the intense training, these young adults are now prepared to serve as backup forces for the Czech military. The program aims to bolster national defense capabilities through a readily available reserve pool. This initiative signifies a growing interest amongst youth in contributing to national security. The newly sworn-in reservists will continue with periodic training to maintain their skills and readiness. The event was a formal occasion recognizing their commitment to defending their country.
