Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka stated he did not feel endangered during a recent interview with a group of activists who disguised themselves as a journalist. The “Detektivní parta” activist group posed as publicist Thomas Paukner, concealing their identities with a mask during the interview for ČT24. Critics, including opposition members, claim Macinka underestimated security protocols by agreeing to the interview under such circumstances. The minister addressed the interview and also discussed the proposed state budget during the broadcast. The interview was conducted by Daniel Takáč. Macinka maintains he saw no cause for alarm during the encounter. The incident has raised questions about security measures surrounding government officials and media interactions.
