According to Czech Television (ČT), the two sides reached a consensus on only one point: maintaining current spending levels for defense and transportation infrastructure projects. Finance Minister Alena Schillerová (ANO) reiterated her belief that a deficit reduction of several billion is achievable. However, the Motorists are advocating for a more substantial reduction of twenty billion. The coalition council also convened on Monday evening to discuss the budget. The differing views highlight the challenges in reaching a comprehensive agreement on budgetary priorities within the governing coalition.
