A cycling event across the Czech Republic is nearing completion, raising funds for palliative care. The second annual “Eight Days for Palliative Care” ride has seen increased participation, particularly from families with experience in providing end-of-life care for loved ones. The event, organized by the Domestici project, combines athletic activity with charitable giving. Funds raised will directly benefit hospices throughout the country, supporting their services for seriously ill patients. Organizers report a significant increase in donations compared to the inaugural event. The initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of palliative care and provide crucial financial support to those offering it. This year’s ride demonstrates growing public engagement with end-of-life care issues.
