Željka Cvijanović, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has clarified her position regarding potential political alliances. She stated she does not intend to form an alliance with Darijana Filipović of the HDZ BiH. This clarification comes despite acknowledging a convergence of views with Filipović, particularly concerning the protection of the rights of constituent nations within Bosnia and Herzegovina. Cvijanović emphasized that shared positions on certain issues do not equate to a broader political alignment. She maintains an independent approach to political decision-making. The statement was released through Sarajevo Times. Cvijanović’s comments aim to dispel any suggestions of a formal coalition between the two politicians.
