A new animated sci-fi film, *Tajemství Křišťálové planety* (Secret of the Crystal Planet), has emerged from a Czech-Slovak-Croatian co-production. Though a collaborative effort, the film’s origins lie on the Adriatic coast. Director Arsen Anton Ostojič penned the original screenplay, drawing inspiration from an idea by fellow Yugoslavian artist Dušan Vukotič, who previously worked within the science fiction genre. The film represents a continuation of Vukotič's legacy, bringing a fresh take on sci-fi storytelling. While details about the plot are limited, the film is noted for its international roots and creative foundation. The animation is expected to appeal to a broad audience, including children. It highlights a renewed interest in collaborative filmmaking across Central and Southeastern Europe.
