A disturbing act of animal cruelty was discovered in the Paliambela region of Aetoloakarnania. On Tuesday morning, a tourist cycling through the area spotted several puppies trapped inside a storm drain. The animals had been intentionally thrown into the drain, leaving them in a desperate situation. Tragically, three of the puppies died as a result of the abandonment. Four other puppies survived the initial ordeal but are currently fighting for their lives. Emergency efforts were made to rescue the remaining animals from the drain. They are now receiving medical attention to stabilize their condition.
