A recent survey conducted by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) investigated how Costa Rican citizens travel abroad. The study aimed to understand the preferred travel styles of Costa Ricans, specifically whether they travel alone, as couples, or with family. The ICT sought to explore the behavior patterns of outbound Costa Rican tourists. Details of the survey’s methodology and full results have not yet been released, but the ICT indicated the findings would offer valuable insights into travel preferences. This information will be used to better understand the needs of Costa Rican travelers and potentially tailor tourism initiatives. The study marks a dedicated effort to profile the outbound travel market from Costa Rica.
