A leak of dozens of milliliters of a corrosive, toxic substance occurred in a laboratory on Studentská Street in Brno. Firefighters worked to contain and eliminate the substance. Approximately 150 people were evacuated from the building, according to Jaroslav Mikoška, a spokesperson for the regional fire department. One individual sustained an injury when the chemical came into contact with their hand and was transported to a hospital by paramedics. The specific chemical involved remains unidentified at this time. Studentská Street has been closed as a safety precaution.
