Greek authorities have uncovered over €3 million in undeclared funds linked to a construction company with a reported turnover of just €3,000. The investigation, conducted by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (ΑΑΔΕ), revealed the company was allegedly concealing income. A real estate agency was also implicated in the scheme. Details emerged from the Data Exploitation and Operational Support Section (ΔΕΟΣ). Authorities suspect significant tax evasion and are pursuing further investigation into the financial activities of both entities. The case highlights ongoing efforts to combat financial crime and improve tax compliance within the construction sector. The undeclared funds represent a substantial amount relative to the company’s officially reported revenue, raising concerns about the scale of the alleged fraud.
