A new report from the Institute for Family Studies in Charlottesville, Virginia, indicates a correlation between frequent church attendance and a more active, satisfying sex life among married couples. Researchers analyzed data from multiple sources, including the 2026 IFS Religion and Family Survey. The study found that couples who regularly attend church services report having sex more often than those who attend infrequently or not at all. Furthermore, these consistently attending couples also expressed greater overall satisfaction with their sexual relationship. These findings suggest a potential link between religious involvement and marital intimacy. The report highlights the importance of community and shared values in fostering healthy relationships.
