Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Mongolia from June 13th to 15th for an official visit. As a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Wang Yi is expected to hold official talks with Mongolian officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This visit builds upon previous engagements, including a 2022 trip where a memorandum of understanding regarding the Gants Mod-Gashuunsukhait railway connection was signed. Discussions are also anticipated to cover the progress of the Erdeneburen hydropower plant project. The visit underscores the ongoing dialogue and cooperation between Mongolia and China on key infrastructure and economic initiatives. This trip signifies continued efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
