Recent advancements have enabled robots to perform sophisticated movements, yet these demonstrations often lack commercial value. China's embodied robotics sector is currently booming, but all industry players face a critical challenge regarding data acquisition. For robotics to achieve widespread adoption, machines must become general-purpose, reliable, and economically viable. Simply increasing the size of AI models may not be the most effective path forward. Instead, the focus must shift toward solving the data bottleneck to transition from hype to utility. By looking beyond bigger models, China can develop more practical AI integration. This strategic pivot is essential for turning technical progress into scalable industrial applications.
