Eighteen regencies and cities in Central Java (Jateng) are receiving a financial boost of Rp268 billion from the central government. This funding, channeled through the General Allocation Fund (DAU), aims to help local governments address challenges related to civil servant salaries. Dwianto Priyongroho, Head of the Central Java Provincial Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), announced the aid. The DAU increase is intended to ensure timely and adequate compensation for ASN (State Civil Apparatus) employees across these regions. This intervention addresses financial constraints experienced by local administrations in fulfilling their wage obligations. The funds will significantly support the economic stability of these regions and maintain the quality of public services. This action highlights the central government’s commitment to supporting regional finances and employee welfare.
