The Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA) is actively promoting the integration of artificial intelligence in educational settings. This initiative aims to support teachers in optimizing lesson preparation and enhancing the overall delivery of curricula. By leveraging AI, the organization seeks to strengthen learning outcomes for students across the region. These goals were highlighted during a three-day capacity-building program specifically designed for Quality Assurance and Standards Officers (QASOs). The training focused on equipping these officers with the skills to oversee AI implementation effectively. Ultimately, CEMASTEA envisions a modernized classroom environment where technology empowers both educators and learners. This strategic move marks a significant step toward digital transformation in African science and mathematics education.
