This decision serves as a direct response to a significant increase in fraud, including fake certificates and identities. Piquet-Viaux clarified that the objective is to prevent ill-prepared departures and safeguard the overall mobility process. Additionally, she distinguished between the roles of Campus France and the visa service, noting they are independent entities. She emphasized that passing an orientation interview or blocking funds does not guarantee a visa. Ultimately, the initiative aims to ensure that students have the necessary means to succeed once they arrive.
