A disagreement has emerged between the leadership of the Evangelical Church of Cameroon (EEC) and the Christian Women's Union (UFC) regarding the future of the Njo-Njo home in Cameroon. The dispute centers around potential demolition plans for the Njo-Njo home, a location of significant historical importance to the UFC. The Christian Women's Union fears the plans will erase 60 years of its history and legacy. Concerns have been raised that the EEC intends to raze the facility, despite its cultural and historical value to the women’s organization. The UFC is resisting the proposed changes and seeking to protect its heritage at the Njo-Njo location. The core of the conflict appears to be differing visions for the site’s future, setting the stage for a potentially damaging rift within the Evangelical Church of Cameroon.
