The Cameroon Bar Association recently participated in the launch of the Founders Museum in Yaoundé, an event organized by the U.S. Embassy to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American Independence. A high-level delegation from the Bar Association joined academics and historians for a panel discussion focused on democracy, governance, and the rule of law. Representing the Order, Me Serges Martin Zangue emphasized the critical role lawyers play in protecting fundamental liberties and strengthening national institutions. The event served as a platform for dialogue on leadership and institutional excellence. Participants explored shared values and sustainable mechanisms for democratic reinforcement. The Cameroon Bar Association praised the U.S. Embassy's initiative and expressed a strong desire for continued cooperation. Moving forward, the two institutions plan to collaborate on legal training and capacity-building projects to further promote the rule of law.
