Cameroon’s agricultural chamber, CAPEF, is actively seeking to bolster economic and industrial cooperation with Tunisia during the IFSA AFRICA 2026 trade show. Led by President Martin Paul Mindjos Momeny, a CAPEF delegation met with the Cameroonian ambassador to Tunisia, Samuel Djobo, to review initial progress. Discussions focused on potential investments and technology transfers, identifying eleven promising projects in agro-industry equipment. The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) was highlighted as a key facilitator for increased trade. CAPEF is prioritizing partnerships in textiles, forestry, food processing, and industrial transformation. Future plans include a collaborative framework between the two countries’ chambers of commerce, industrial development projects in Cameroon, and capacity building for local businesses, with the ambassador pledging full diplomatic support.
