City hall previously announced Kacprzyk would rectify 33 invoices and transfer the funds following recent public scrutiny. However, the intended payment was reportedly returned to the sender. The situation arose after increased attention was given to Kacprzyk’s dealings. Authorities had initially indicated the funds would be deposited following the invoice corrections. The prosecutor’s statement contradicts the earlier announcement from city officials regarding the donation’s completion. The reason for the return of the transfer has not been publicly detailed.
