A fire erupted in an open grass patch in Bukit Panjang, Singapore on Wednesday. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) responded to the incident, extinguishing the blaze which covered an area of approximately 30m by 20m. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by authorities. SCDF confirmed the fire was contained and posed no threat to surrounding structures or residents.
