Starting July 1st, Budapest will expand its nighttime public transportation services to several commuter towns. The areas of Érd, Vác, Balassagyarmat, Gyömrő, and Vecsés will receive new or more frequent night bus and train connections. This expansion aims to improve mobility for residents in these surrounding areas during late-night hours. The changes are intended to better serve commuters and those working late shifts. Specific details regarding schedules and routes will be released by Budapest Transport Company (BKK). The initiative responds to growing demand for improved public transport options outside of peak daytime hours. This service enhancement is expected to facilitate easier travel between Budapest and its suburban communities at night.
