A train travelling from Budapest to Bucharest was halted between Caracal and Fărcășele, Romania on Sunday due to a malfunction with the towing locomotive. The affected train is the IR 12079 service. CFR Călători, the Romanian national railway company, reports that the locomotive is still under warranty. The warranty is provided by SC RELOC SA Craiova, a company based in Craiova. CFR Călători has dispatched assistance to resolve the issue and resume service. Further details regarding the duration of the delay were not immediately available. The incident caused disruption to passengers travelling between the two capital cities.
