Contracts for the planning permits required for Radial Roads 9 and 10 have been signed by Bucharest’s General Mayor, Ciprian Ciucu. These roads are designed to connect the capital city to the A0 ring road, as well as to Vidra and Măgurele. The completion of the planning permits (PUZ) is expected by the beginning of next year. However, actual construction work is not anticipated to begin until 2028. The project aims to improve transportation infrastructure and connectivity in and around Bucharest. This signing marks a key step forward, despite the considerable timeframe before physical construction commences. The delays are attributed to the necessary planning and permitting processes.
