NGIP Agmark Limited has completed and donated a K265,770 multi-purpose hall to Konkopine Primary School in a remote area of Bougainville. The new facility, finished in early 2024, aims to significantly improve educational resources for the local community. Representatives from NGIP Agmark’s Buka and Arawa branches officially handed over the hall to school officials. The hall is described as state-of-the-art and is intended to serve a variety of school functions. This investment addresses a need for improved infrastructure in a geographically isolated region of Bougainville. Details of the project were released by the Post Courier, but access requires a subscription. The company’s contribution is expected to positively impact the learning environment for students at Konkopine Primary School.
