The Council of Europe’s anti-trafficking group, GRETA, has acknowledged Bosnia and Herzegovina’s advancements in combating human trafficking. A recently published report details positive steps taken to strengthen the country’s overall response. However, GRETA emphasizes continued efforts are crucial, particularly in preventing trafficking and proactively identifying victims. The report is based on the fourth round of evaluation conducted by the expert group. While progress has been made, further improvements are needed to fully address the issue.
