Bora Pharmaceuticals has finalized its acquisition of MacroGenics’ biologics manufacturing operations in Rockville, Maryland, in a deal valued at $122.5 million. This strategic move establishes a significant 20,000-liter US-based platform for the development and commercial supply of drug substances. The acquisition expands Bora’s capabilities to encompass the entire biologics value chain, from development to large-scale production. This investment strengthens Bora’s presence in the US market and positions the company to capitalize on growing demand for biologics. The facility will support the manufacturing of a variety of therapies, catering to diverse pharmaceutical partners. Bora anticipates this acquisition will contribute significantly to revenue growth and solidify its role as a prominent CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization). The transaction was completed on July 2nd, 2026.
