Search and recovery operations have concluded following the March 18th sinking of the Astana tugboat in the Black Sea near Midia Port. The recovery effort, a joint operation between Midia Marine Terminal and ARAS Salvage, was completed after the wreckage was refloated last week. Divers located the body of the final missing sailor on Monday in the vicinity of the port where the vessel went down. This concludes the search for the three crew members who were reported missing after the incident. The recovered remains have been brought ashore. The cause of the sinking remains under investigation, though recovery efforts are now finished.
