Bishkek’s chief architecture department has developed a standardized design for “For Sale” signs advertising private homes. The initiative aims to create a more cohesive and visually appealing urban environment throughout the city. Currently, a variety of sign styles contribute to visual clutter. The new, typified design will be uniformly applied to all residential property sale advertisements. This move is intended to improve the overall aesthetic quality of Bishkek’s streets. Officials believe a unified look will contribute to a more organized and modern city image. The standardized signs are expected to be implemented city-wide in the near future.
