The Bishkek to Balikchi train service will operate on a daily schedule starting June 26th, 2026. This change is being implemented by Kyrgyz Temir Zholu, the national railway company of Kyrgyzstan. The increased frequency is intended to accommodate growing demand during peak tourist season. Previously, the train did not run daily. The announcement serves as a reminder to travelers of the updated timetable. This improved service aims to facilitate travel between the capital city and the popular resort destination of Balikchi. The railway company anticipates increased passenger numbers with the new daily service.
