The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) successfully prevented the Border Security Force (BSF) of India from pushing nine individuals into Bangladesh. The group, which included women and children, was forced toward the barbed wire fence on the Bangladeshi side. These incidents occurred early Sunday morning around 6:00 AM. The push-in attempts took place at two locations: Goytapara in Shoulmari Union and Izlamari in the central union of Roumari Upazila, Kurigram. The migrants are currently stationed at the border area. This action by the BSF was intercepted by BGB forces to maintain border security.
