Miloš Pavlović, representing the Belgrade branch of the Serbian People's Movement, has strongly criticized a forthcoming urban development plan for the Bajdina area of Belgrade. In a statement, Pavlović urged the immediate suspension of the plan’s adoption during the next session of the Belgrade City Assembly. He alleges the plan favors private investors at the expense of public interests and green spaces. The opposition claims the proposed construction would negatively impact the local environment and infrastructure. Pavlović further contends the plan lacks transparency and adequate public consultation. The Serbian People’s Movement is calling for a comprehensive review and broader public debate before any decisions are made regarding the Bajdina district’s future development. They fear irreversible damage to the area’s character and quality of life.
